Managing data from sports to transport with Gate2Chain and the BSV blockchain

In an era of exponential data growth and the urgent need for efficient management systems, the BSV blockchain is a transformative force capable of revolutionising data management across diverse sectors.

From the fast-paced world of sports to the intricate logistics of transportation, the BSV blockchain presents a versatile solution that transcends traditional boundaries, offering unparalleled transparency, security, and scalability.

One company which is actively working with the BSV blockchain to manage data integrity is Gate2Chain.

The G2C Development Suite allows you to connect new or existing apps, websites, games, or any other system to the BSV blockchain, explains Bart Olivares, CEO of Gate2Chain.

Olivares pointed to Trace – the brainchild of IBM and Gate2Chain – a blockchain-powered platform that facilitates the creation and tracking of ‘digital twins’ across the entire supply and distribution chain. Gate2Chain is also working on a meta marketplace platform, offering white-label marketplace solutions for companies and institutions that want to monetise their audiences better, he said.

Building a global distribution network

Olivares said he and his team are working on a global distribution network, including a recent agreement with sports consulting company Studio Blues. ‘They are promoting our products, our solutions to their customers, with the main idea of increasing customer engagement to monetise their audiences better,’ he said. This includes the tokenisation of certain products and collectables.

‘Tokenisation is not just about collectables. You can tokenise products, services, tickets – you can tokenise just about everything. When you tokenise you increase the efficiency of the process and the velocity of commerce.

‘So that’s the main idea. Go much further than collectables and start to issue tokenised tickets, products, services and experiences so we can engage differently with our customers.’

However, Gate2Chain’s development suite is not just limited to sports, and Olivares noted that the tools can be used by just about any business. He pointed to a digital passport product which is currently being used by some train companies in Europe.

‘We realised that they can also manage certificates, invoices, diplomas, any kind of document that can be time stamped and you can ensure data integrity. And that’s what we are doing here to provide data integrity solutions,’ he said.
